In two short days, the Sun, Mercury and Saturn conjoin in Pisces while the Moon transits Libra. “Oh no! Not the Sun and Mercury with Saturn,” say doomsayers, “How are other people going to understand what you have to say?” The second part of this declaration actually offers a tidbit of insight. The real question is: “How are you doing with declaring the emotional intensity surrounding your greatest aspirations in life? Do you reckon that others hear how important your objectives are to you, and do they realize how emotionally charged (and sensitive) you are about such pursuits?”
Actually this Pisces/Libra pattern emulates Gonggong’s cosmic agenda as his north node (heliocentric) swims in Pisces and his closest contact to the Sun leans in while occupying Libra. Gonggong is the relatively new dwarf planet, who like Eris, takes more than five and a half centuries to orbit the Sun. Gonggong is all about holding reverence for personal objectives regardless of the opinions of family, friends and personal comments encountered on social media. Gonggong requires that you feel everything fully, with great emphasis on the unique perspective your creativity affords, even if your vision is alleged by others to be cockeyed and obnoxiously oblique. Gonggong stirs the realization that those not swimming in their own personal inspiration stew are inclined to go all naysayer on creative types - quite possibly a reaction that originates in envy.
It’s like when a poet asks someone who doesn’t understand the gist of iambic pentameter to read their latest poem, painstakingly scribed in iambic pentameter. That’s a bit like asking a mongoose to comment on the full moon above. Likely a non supportive, off-base reply gets rendered as the mongoose attends to snakes in the grass, not the cosmic flow overhead.
The hugely important agenda of these three bodies coagulating in Pisces is to reaffirm and engage with all personal creative aspirations as if there is no tomorrow. Saturn demands the go-for-it and persist-no-matter-what attitudes, while the Sun and Mercury marvel over inspiration and seek to clearly define an end game for all original, ingenious concepts that contribute to the full manifestation of creative inspiration. With the support of Saturn any and all projects realized or initiated during such a folded over alignment contain the clarity and drive to see it through well beyond the end game.
It is important to engage socially during this time frame and to enhance the epidermal layer of the anatomy to increase in thickness when negativity and discouragement strive to encompass enthusiasm. While it is important to consider the greatest of dreams through a filter of reality such that the Don Quixote syndrome can be avoided, it is equally necessary not to submit to hesitation, procrastination or emotional defeat based upon the opinions of others. In slightly more than a fortnight, three transits occur that seek to shore up visions and support raw creativity. It’s fertile for fecundity fever.
First up of the upcoming trinity, on 17 March, the Sun stands waist-deep conjunct Neptune in Pisces. Sure some might accuse aspirations and dreams of being nothing more than chasing the leprechaun’s pot of gold... as if it’s Saint Patrick’s Day or something. This aspect is not as blurry as others claim. Consider the warming rays of the Sun that melt away fog and leave behind a most brilliant and clear path.
Years ago while in the Navy, one morning our ship inched its way through a thick fog bank in the Gulf of Tonkin. The fog limited visibility in any horizontal direction to maybe a hundred meters. Curiously, the fog bank touched the water and only reached twenty feet vertically. Above a brilliant blue sky looked down upon the fog.
Fortunately, our ship possessed radar, such that any object that might interfere with the path ahead, yet invisible, could be perceived with sufficient time to avoid collision. As the Sun intensified, the fog disappeared. One minute it was there, the next it was not... a clear path in all directions appeared as if by magic.
Also back in the olden days, when one captured an image with a camera, the film inside that camera needed to be developed. When in the developer soup, miraculously an image appeared from nothing. That image was as clear as the focus applied by the photographer through the light shaping lens on the camera.
This whole latent image, magic vision thing sharpens the next day, 18 March, as the message maker, Mercury, meets aligns with the north lunar node in Aries. This aspect demands articulation of all things important to any person and with a distinctive me-first, my-agenda-matters-most tone of intent. Any assertion rendered that may be strong or overstated actually perfectly aligns with the antidotal messaging of this transit that supports a clear and emphatic declaration of the absolute determination to fulfill ones karmic path no matter what... especially when encountering diminishing comments by those in ones sphere of influence.
And the day after that, 19 March, Psyche conjoins Pluto in Aquarius. This transit, in the alleged “off the wall” sign, reaches to the essence of Gonggong, who totally groks the “follow ones dreams” agenda. According to lore, Gonggong, while in battle with another deity, banged his head on the Earth and caused it to tilt. Symbolically, the obliquity of all things outside the norm receive sanction and enthusiastic pursuit.
Given that Psyche has been determined to be phenomenally valuable on the material plane, with Pluto in Aquarius, they combine to support and endorse unlimited passion through intention to fulfill all dreams no matter how far out or on the fringe they may seem and whether dreamed up during sleep or conjured through conscious daydreaming.
Such wayward and unlimited envisioning just might access the next great thing that one chooses to pursue while basking in the vibes of Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus and the subsequent jovial engagement through opposition in Gemini to oh-so-many-things galactic in Sagittarius.
As Pisces may be inclined to say, “I’ll drink to that.” No judgment on the toast. A cuppa of herbal tea or good ole sacred water suffices for such propitiation. It is about what one can swallow!
